The 274 years of the History of the XIIth Foot and The Suffolk Regiment from 1685 to 1959 pre-dated the era of Information Technology. Despite the amalgamation in 1959 the history and many activities of the old Regiment continue. We have decided to join the 21st Century and make available to all those interested as much information as possible about the Old Regiment.
